Bridget Schroedel is an assistant principal at Park Orchard Elementary in Kent School District. She is an innovative administrator bringing simple tools and interventions to her school and community that are creating massive impact. And she believes that discipline means to teach, not to shame.

In this episode of the GW Spotlight, we shine a light on Bridget, as she shares the story of how she and her staff dedicated an entire classroom to teaching and learning self-regulation after having attended a Generation Wellness Training. Since then, their behavior referrals have decreased by 50% in just four months of implementation, and by the third year of implementation her school had decreased behavior referrals by 90%.
