Through this workshop, participants will:

  • Deepen your understanding of the human brain, human needs and the impact of developing the whole child.

  • Experience research-based practices that enhance well-being in classrooms, companies and communities.

  • Deepen awareness of different types of childhood trauma, while also learning how the brain and body respond to stress/trauma.

  • Experience the Regulate, Connect, Reflect Framework and practical, innovative techniques that support a trauma-informed classroom.

  • Practice mindful strategies to regulate emotions as a whole class, small group or on an individual basis.

  • Understand how to teach healthy ways to cope with stress and learn how to create a Regulation Station in your classroom.

  • Explore multiple strategies to improve school culture, so that students and staff feel like they belong.

  • Experience Connection Circles and discuss how to implement Connection Circles into advisory or morning routine.

  • Learn communication strategies to cultivate meaningful relationships.

  • Discuss basic needs and strategies/activities that support them.

  • Create a Trauma-Informed School Action Plan.

  • Practice teaching activities in small groups.

  • Identify assessments and data collection processes currently in place that can be used to measure progress.

  • Explore the latest, most useful apps and research relating to personal and professional wellness.

  • Review resources for administrators, parents and students.

  • Clarify your wellness mission and create a plan to translate this mission into action, so that you are able to immediately integrate these practices into your setting.

    Refund Policy: This training is non-refundable. Understandably, life and schedules change. Because of the extensive pre-planning involved for each Generation Wellness Training. registration fees are non-refundable. However, we do offer a $50 change fee. This allows you to use your registration fee to attend a future event offered by Generation Wellness or to transfer your fee to another person-simply let our support team know prior to your scheduled event so we can make those changes.Generation Wellness, LLC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trainings. In the event we cancel a training, registration fees will be refunded. Generation Wellness, LLC will not be responsible for cancellation costs or fees related to airline and other registrant travel costs.
